Mark joined the LGPC team in 2015 having previously been in the Armed Forces. Whilst Mark has the skills to cover every stage of the galvanising process, he particularly excels in ‘Pickling’ and the zinc immersion elements.
Since joining LGPC in 2009 Wojtek has fulfilled a number of roles in our powder coating plant, building his knowledge and experience to take on the role of day shift supervisor. Wojtek’s responsibilities include managing workflow and overseeing quality and ensuring that health & safety standards are maintained on our powder coating line, from fettling to packaging.
Since joining LGPC in May 2022, Jane has restructured the HR function within the business. In addition to her wealth of HR experience spanning over thirty-five years, Jane is also NEBOSH qualified. In her spare time Jane enjoys attending country music festivals and walking in the countryside.
Lewis is our most recent recruit, working as an under-study to our Production Director, Darryl, to ensure the smooth co-ordination of both production and transport workflow. Lewis has proved himself to be a fast learner with great promise and has recently undertaken his CPC qualification.
Since joining LGPC in August 2020, Thomas has worked exclusively in our galvanising plant, he specialises in the post galvanising inspection stage, ensuring all material meets the ISO1461:2009 standard.
Having originally joined the LGPC galvanising team over twenty years ago, David has gained invaluable experience in every area of the galvanising plant.
Simon’s father, Mike, originally formed Bradford Galvanising in 1995 and Simon joined shortly afterwards. The business moved to it’s current site in Leeds and became Leeds Galvanising in 1997. Simon worked from grass roots up, gaining hands on knowledge and experience across every process in the business. Since taking the role of MD in 2016 Simon has worked tirelessly, to instigate positive improvement in the business to deliver the highest standards, demonstrated in our plethora of industry leading accreditations.
Tony holds a DMS MBA and is passionate about operational effectiveness. For the past six years Tony has supported the business through the exploration of time and cost saving efficiencies, grant applications and R&D.
Vaughn’s interest in all things engineering developed from childhood, initially leading him into a career as a crane engineer until he joined LGPC in 2000. Vaughn is now responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our plant and equipment, training new members of staff on our procedures in line with our ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & Qualisteelcoat accreditations and consistent adherence to these standards through regular audits.
Amy has a wealth of experience in managing sales ledgers, proposing payroll and commercial debt recovery. Since joining the LGPC team in 2018, Amy’s role has developed and she now manages all our day to day account functions and payroll and is working towards AAT Accreditation.
Peter has been a valued member of our Driver team since 2014, making daily collections and deliveries across the country from Monday to Friday.
Amber is one of the most recent additons to the LGPC team. Amber’s primary role is to support Sara in our Sales and Marketing functions. She has a keen interest in travel and fashion.
Since Adam joined LGPC in 2020 he has gained experience across all areas in both our powder coating plants, he now specialises in operating our automated spray booth on our powder coating line.
Prior to joining LGPC in 2019, Sara held numerous senior roles with leading financial institutions. Sara is responsible for all LGPCs branding and marketing as well as managing our office team, she believes passionately in delivering a superior customer experience.
Artur has been working in our powder coating plants since 2018, having gained experience in both plants be now spends the majority of his time working in our box oven plant, overseeing the intricate finishing of some of the largest items we process.
Darryl has overseen and managed production across all our plants since 2011. As many of our existing customers would attest, Darryl is as highly driven to deliver an exceptional quality finish, as he is in meeting customers’ turnaround expectations, to ensure their projects remain on track.
We are accredited by a number of the industry’s leading authorities.
Galvanising itself is hugely sustainable as a process, but more so with LGPC.
