What is powder coating?

Powder coating is a finishing process where a fine powder of resin is electrostatically applied to a surface then placed in an oven at high temperature, which liquifies the powder and sets it into place, a process known as curing. This achieves a far more uniform look compared to wet paint and superior resistance to wear.
